Around 100 tyres were destroyed by a blaze at a tyre workshop in Sidcup.
Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were called to the fire at the tyre workshop on Maidstone Road.
The Brigade was called at 9:47 pm and the fire was under control at 11:50 pm. There were no reports of any injuries.
Watch Manager Tom Pawley, who was at the scene, said: "Firefighters were faced with a well developed fire when they got to the scene.
"Crews worked hard to quickly bring the blaze under control."
Fire crews from Sidcup, Orpington, Bexley and Eltham fire stations attended the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
