Commuters have been warned to expect disruption through Woolwich Dockyard this rush hour after a rail has caught fire near the station.
According to Southeastern, delays of up to 20 minutes are to be expected while the fire is dealt with.
In particular, trains running towards Slade Green have been affected by the incident.

Southeastern has said Network Rail staff are onsite to tackle the fire.
At the moment, trains cannot run from Greenwich or Blackheath, but London bound trains are said to be largely unaffected.
Some passengers may have their trains diverted via Bexleyheath.
Disruption is set to continue until about 9am.
