The Met Office has released a weather warning over London as Storm Ali batters the north.
Strong winds are expected over the next couple of days, which has prompted a yellow weather warning over the capital.
We will most likely see gusts of 45-50 mph in a few spots, however there is a chance they could reach up to 65mph overnight into Friday.
The strong winds will accompanied by short-lived outbreaks of very heavy rain in places.
There is a chance of very dangerous road conditions, interruptions to power supplies and local flooding.
You are advised to plan your journeys and leave extra time as well as taking care when out and about.
