Two teenagers have been arrested after a police officer was hit on the head with a baton while breaking up a fight at Albany Park station.
Police were called to the station shortly after 5pm on Monday to reports a man had been assaulted in a fight.
When officers attended, the two 17-year-old boys were arrested for affray.
Police believe the fight broke out at about 4.30pm onboard a train going to Dartford, just before it pulled into Albany Park.
During the fight, an off-duty police officer in his 40s tried to intervene, but was "hit over the head by a heavy baton" in his attempt. He sustained minor injuries.
Four boys are said to have run off from the station.
British Transport Police has appealed to anyone who might have seen the incident to come forward.
