Police are appealing for witnesses after a newsagent in Dartford was targeted in an attempted robbery.
Riverview Newsagent in Henderson Drive was targeted at around 7.10am on Friday, September 14.
A man demanded money from a shop worker while holding a bag, which was believed to contain a weapon.
He also went on to assault a customer in the attempt, but no injuries were reported and no money was taken from the shop.
The suspect is described as around 6ft tall with a large build and a local accent. He was last scene running in the direction of Shaftesbury Lane.
A 24-year-old Dartford man was arrested and is in custody, but police want to hear from anyone who might have seen the incident.
