Grind cocktail bar and lounge is coming to Greenwich with a mix of music, design, coffee, food and cocktails.

Launching later this year, Grind will be opening their first ever cocktail bar and lounge outside of London’s Zone 1.

Over six-thousand square feet in size, this will be the biggest Grind to date on Nelson Road, Greenwich, and will feature a cocktail bar and lounge.

To the rear will be the main event, a 160 cover indoor-outdoor dining room and garden set in the Conservatory being transformed into a greenhouse-like oasis of tropical plants.

The building previously housed Jamie’s Italian, and Greenwich Grind will open day and night, seven days per week, serving coffee from the Grind roastery in Shoreditch

For breakfast and brunch, Grind will serve favourites like it’s sweet potato harissa cakes and smashed avocado on toast, complimented by bottomless prosecco on the weekend.

Once evening arrives, a casual menu of dishes such as the Grind cheeseburger and flat-iron steak is joined by sharing plates, including chorizo and smoked cheese croquettes and burrata bruschetta.

For the interior, Grind will continue their partnership with Melbourne-based architects Biasol following a slew of international awards for Clerkenwell Grind in 2017, including Best Restaurant at the Restaurant and Bar Design Awards.

Grind Founder & CEO David Abrahamovitch added - “We’ve never taken a project of the scale of Greenwich Grind, and we couldn’t be more excited to share everything we’ve been working on with the people of Greenwich.

“From our very first visit, we all fell in love with this incredible space in this beautiful neighbourhood - and we’re thrilled to become a part of it.”
