Is your supermarket already stocked with mince pies or your local shop windows already decked-out for christmas?

If so, we want to hear from you!

Christmas is still over three months away but some shoppers have reported seeing their local supermarket already stocked with Christmas goodies.

Bewildered Asda, Sainsbury's and Morrisons customers have tweeted out pictures of shelves packed with mince pies, while Tesco shoppers have been confronted with tins of Quality Street and Heroes.

A Sainsbury's spokesman said: "We start to stock some festive products in advance of the main Christmas period as some customers like to be more organised and help spread the cost."

Selfridges, which opened its Christmas shop 145 days before December 25, said they attributed the commercial success of their summer launch was driven by early Christmas shoppers in the UK and tourists.
