You can now hire a 'Bedtime Nanny' for those of us who don't want to put their children to bed.

Let us set the scene, it's been a long day at work, you are tired, the kids are running around screaming, you try and corral them into bed and they say - no.

It can be blooming exhausting and sometimes we just don't want to do it.

But there is now a service in which you can hire a nanny specifically to deal with bedtime.

Childcare.co.uk launched the service after it saw a rise in demand for bedtime support from its database of parents and it’s now looking for more providers to offer bedtime nanny services to sign-up through the site and has said that hopeful candidates can expect to earn upwards of £20 an hour.

To be eligible to become a ‘Bedtime Nanny’ candidates must have at least one year of childcare experience, an enhanced DBS check, and be first aid trained.

Professionals can register to offer this service, and others, here: childcare.co.uk/register

Responsibilities for bedtime nannies could include; enforcing a strict bedtime routine, getting them changed into pyjamas, cleaning children’s teeth, optional bathing, and tucking them in before telling them a bed time story.

The site already has 250 nannies offering the service across the UK, while almost 150 parents have enquired about hiring a bedtime nanny since the launch.

Parents interested in using the service can find more information here: childcare.co.uk/information/bedtime-nannies
