The Nugent street food festival is returning to Orpington next weekend.

On September 1 and 2 you are invited to Eats from the Street between 11am to 6pm on Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sunday.

Visitors will be invited to tuck into their street food delights onboard a converted double-decker Routemaster bus, which will be transformed into a dining area.

You will also get the chance to meet Gunner, Orpington’s local therapy dog who will be outside Waterstones reading with children and adults.

Families will also be able to enjoy free face painting throughout the weekend, so there really is something for everyone.

You will be able to enjoy the likes of BOOQA, a range of Vietnamese dishes, Mama Donuts, The Toasty Badger, Chez Raphael and Kent Mobile Bar Company.

Tina Powley, centre manager at Nugent, said: “Our Eats from the Street festival is a celebration of street food and some of the best, independent food vendors from across the region.

“The event has proven really popular with local people in recent years, and we’re excited to be bringing it back once again this year, offering free entertainment for the whole family while they enjoy the delicious food from our stalls.”
