One of the victims of a hammer attack in New Eltham who was left fighting for her life has been discharged from hospital.
Thirty-year-old Ania Gos, an office worker, and her mother were attacked in Adderley Gardens on Sunday afternoon.
Emergency services arrived at the scene to find Miss Goss and her 64-year-old mother in critical condition.
They were reported to have suffered horrific facial and other injuries in the attack.
Now, Miss Gos has been released from hospital after her condition improved.
Her mother is said to still be in hospital, in a "serious but stable" condition, according to the Met Police.
A 27-year-old man, Joe Xuereb, will appear at the Old Bailey in September after being charged with two counts of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon after he was arrested in Sidcup.
