The victim of a late night attack in Mitcham is no longer in critical condition.
Police were called at 11.13pm on August 22 to reports of an assault in London Road, Mitcham.
Officers, the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended and found a man suffering serious head injuries.
He was taken to a west London hospital where he was initially in a critical condition
Police have no given an update, saying that he is now in a stable condition.
A 29-year-old man was been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm but has now been released under investigation.
