Plans for a new aerospace and technology college at Biggin Hill Airport will be unveiled at a public consultation meeting next month.
The proposed new facility is a partnership between London South East Colleges, Biggin Hill Airport and the Greater London Authority.
There is currently a shortage of aviation and aerospace engineers, something a technology college in Biggin Hill would hope to help rectify.
Sam Parrett OBE, Principal and CEO of London South East Colleges, said: “Listening and responding to the views of local people is an essential part of any planning process.
“This meeting will be an opportunity for all members of the community to see our proposals, talk to the project team and give feedback. We look forward to meeting you all.”
The consultation meeting will be at Women’s Institute Hall in Lebanon Gardens, Biggin Hill on Monday (September 10) between 4-8pm.
