Commuters of Southeastern have been warned that trains in and around Lewisham will be cancelled at short notice this morning.
This is because of a signalling problem in the area.
The company has said it will be releasing more information soon and we will update our story once details emerge.
One fed up train user wrote on Twitter: "Why is it always some sort of problem in Lewisham every single time. Day and night."
On Monday a signalling problem hit New Beckenham which left frustrated commuters enduring long or finding alternative transport during rush hour.
UPDATE - A National Rail statement read: "Due to a fault with the signalling system between Lewisham and Ladywell, train services running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed. Disruption is expected until 08:30."
Train tickets are being accepted on Tramlink, Southern and Underground services.
UPDATE: Because of a signalling problem in the Lewisham area, some mainline trains via Ashford to Charing Cross may be diverted to Victoria. You may use your ticket on the Underground between London terminal stations at no extra cost.

This happens far too often. We have a third rate rail service with premium pricing. Something needs to change......

@networkrail When will you do something about the constant signalling issues and congestion at the Lewisham junction?
