Three fire crews battled a fire on Dartford Heath on Wednesday, in the latest in a series of blazes across north Kent.
According to Kent Fire and Rescue Service, a big patch - thought to be five hectares - of grassland and undergrowth were alight.
A spokeswoman from the fire service said: "There is a fire currently ongoing on Dartford Heath.
"We were called to the scene at 11.58. There is a large area of grass and undergrowth alight.
"Crews are using a hose to put the fire out. Three fire engines are on the scene."
Reports also suggested roads were closed while emergency services are on the site.

The fire was put out by 2.34pm.
