Police are appealing for witnesses after a man plunged a knife into a car in a road-rage incident in Ladywell.
Officers were called to Ladywell Road shortly before 5.30pm yesterday (July 26) after reports of a man armed with a knife.
The victim was driving down Vicars Hill and turned left into Ladywell Road when he crashed into a man on a moped.
The moped rider drew a knife and approached the victim’s open driver side window, plunging it into the car twice while shouting at the victim.
Fortunately, the victim was not injured.
The suspect then got back on the moped and rode off in the direction of Vicars Hill.
No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
