A passenger has escaped without injury after falling between the train and the platform at Welling station this lunchtime.
An air ambulance was spotted landing near the station as police and paramedics attended the scene, where a passenger had slipped down the gap.
According to British Transport Police, emergency services remain at the scene but the person has not been injured.
Southeastern has announced delays are to be expected until 3pm between Eltham and Barnehurst as a result of the incident.
Trains from Lewisham to Dartford are also unable to run via Bexleyheath and will be diverted in the meantime.
A BTP spokesman confirmed: "We were called at 1.40pm to reports of a person falling between the train and the platform.
"Officers are alongside paramedics at the scene.
"No injuries have been reported and we are working to remove them safely."
