Emergency Services have been called to an incident between Waterloo and Clapham Junction that will cause travel chaos into the night.
South Western Railway tweeted at about 4.30pm today that all lines between the two stations were now blocked due to the incident.
"We are aware of emergency services dealing with an incident between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction," the rail company wrote.
"In order to ensure the safety of the emergency services, and of all trains, passengers and crews, all trains in this area have to stop and will be at a stand until a safe operating environment has been re-established.

"The power supply has also been isolated in order that the emergency services may conduct their work safely.
"We may need to make short-notice changes to trains in order to manage disruption. We may need to change where your train stops or cancel it at short notice."
The lines have now re-opened but delays and cancellations are expected until the end of the day.
There is no official word on the details of the incident.
