Plans for more than 80 flats in Kidbrooke have been submitted to Greenwich Council.
Berkeley Homes has submitted an application for the second phase of a major regeneration project in Kidbrooke Village.
The wider masterplan for the redevelopment of the Ferrier Estate was approved by the council in 2009, comprising of 4,000 homes that will be split across seven phases.
This latest development is the final in the second phase, which has had 534 homes built since 2010.
Berkeley is proposing 85 apartments, predominantly two-bedroom, along with car and cycle parking near Moorehead Way.
The developers will eventually build thousands of homes in Kidbrooke Village, along with shops, offices, a pub and a primary school.
Berkeley said in its application: “The proposed development would make efficient use of the remaining brownfield land within phase two and provide new high-quality energy efficient and sustainable flats.”
Berkeley said 30 “affordable units” are included in this part of the scheme.
If the council gives the proposals the go-ahead, Berkeley will be set to pay a community infrastructure levy to the council so it can spend money on improving local networks.
