England’s victory over Sweden to book a place in the World Cup semi-final sparked wild scenes as fans filled the streets across south London.
Buses were climbed upon and traffic was ground to a halt as the Three Lions secured a clash with Croatia in Moscow.
Harry Maguire struck first with a header from an Ashley Young cross before Dele Alli scored the decisive second on the hour mark.
While many were ecstatic with the result, others were left furious over the actions of others as an ambulance vehicle was “vandalised”.
Here is a quick rundown of what went on last night.
Fans at Boxpark Croydon go CRAZY as England score twice

If there was one area of south London which was overjoyed when Maguire and Alli found the back of the Sweden net, then it was Croydon.
Scenes from inside the Boxpark show a huge number of supporters going ballistic both headers gave England a comfortable lead.
Shame about all the spilled beer, though.

⚠️The public are being reminded to stay safe. Reports have come in of a male jumping up and down on top of a double decker bus who then proceeded to jump onto the top of a @TfL Bus Shelter and consequently fell through it. @TfLBusAlerts Video @mecafolidas pic.twitter.com/VIvhnoaNlv
Over in Wandsworth, the celebrations continued after the final whistle as traffic all but stood still.
Posts by Twitter users show some people climbing on top of vans and buses – even one double-decker – while services ground to a halt in the middle of the streets.
At one point, an unidentified man jumped from the roof of an 87 bus and crashed through the roof of a bus stop before springing back up quickly.
It’s unknown whether he suffered any injuries at this stage.

In another tweet, one man can be seen having taken off his t-shirt and trousers before climbing onto the railings of a boat and jumping into the Thames in Lambeth.
The person filming, looking on in shock, can be heard saying: “Oh my god, what is going on! Oh my goodness!”
Bearing just a watch and some black Calvin Klein shorts, he later emerges with his arms aloft after jumping in.
Anger as London ambulance is damaged during celebrations
Obviously we are chuffed with the result this afternoon but there is absolutely NO excuse to vandalise emergency service vehicles by jumping on them..

In a not-so-smart move, some people took to climbing on top of the windscreen of a London ambulance in their celebrations.
Borough High Street, similar to roads in Wandsworth, was filled with supporters following the full-time whistle.
But images have emerged online of people having apparently stepped on the windscreen of the emergency service vehicle enough to put it out for repairs.
In a tweet, the London Ambulance Service’s Joint Response Unit said: “Obviously we are chuffed with the result this afternoon but there is absolutely NO excuse to vandalise emergency service vehicles by jumping on them.
“The vehicle is now off the road and unable to respond to patients.
“We are better than this England...”
A Met Police spokesman said no arrests have been made over the incident.
