CANDIDATES have been nominated for a seat vacated by an expelled councillor.
The by-election for the seat in Whitefoot ward, Lewisham, will be held on September 13.
Candidates include Skip Amrani from the Labour Party, Pete Pattisson from the Liberal Democrats and Thomas Philpott from the Conservative Party.
Also standing are Jens Winton from the UK Independence Party, Charles Laurie from the Green Party and Tess Culnane from the National Front.
Sera Kentman was axed by the Lib Dems in March after breaching rules, which included failing to disclose her debts as a councillor, and has not attended the council for six months.
Other allegations against Ms Kentman include having four false identities, a £9,000 overpayment of housing benefit on a house she part owned and outstanding council tax payments back dating more than a year.
She has been bailed to return to Lewisham police station on August 31.
