A gigantic, 5.5 meter, walking, roaring, sandy-red Triceratops has made its home at Rentadinosaur, a Bromley-based company.

Rentadinosaur has been performing for the last three years at festivals, gardens, cinemas and museums around the country. These include appearances at Brands Hatch, Whipsnade and London Zoos, ITV’s Ninja Warrior and Specsavers.

The arrival of the new Triceratops, who joins a 4-meter feathered T.rex dubbed Dexter, marks the release of new film Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and those who have managed to get a sneaky glimpse before the show are said to be "wowed".

Chris Coulson, founder of Rentadinosaur, the only UK dinosaur company of its kind to be staffed by professional creature actors and puppeteers, said: "After a few months of working with our design engineers, we were so relieved to finally see the Triceratops.

"It’s even more incredible than we hoped. Just breath-taking."

He added that the company aims to provide entertainment "with a bit of education slipped in when nobody’s looking".

All will be revealed at the main event which takes place this weekend on the Saturday, June 9, at the Millennium Leisure Park, Greenwich, where the Triceratops will roam the Odeon Cinema and Prezzo.

Following on from the first tour, his next location will be at Brands Hatch American Speedfest on the June 10, where the dinosaur will officially be named.

The unnamed Triceratops is just the latest edition to a well-established family of dinosaurs which include the ‘newly-hatched’ Emily Brontosaurus, said to have "delightful dimples which are winning everybody’s hearts".

Rentadinosaur encourages dinosaur enthusiasts of all ages to put forward a name for the new Triceratops ahead of the event by visiting their Facebook page.
