Six blades and 19 bags of drugs were seized from just one road by Woolwich police conducting patrols overnight.

Pictures shared on the @MPSWoolwichComm account, which covers the wards of Woolwich Common, showed a number of knives and several bags of cannabis that officers had obtained as a result of the patrols.

The patrols, which were conducted on Marine Drive, were "targeted" - which means they were conducted on suspects identified as suspicious.
