A scouting group in Petts Wood has had its minibus stolen leaving over 100 children without “vital transport”.
The 5th Petts Wood Scout Group’s minibus was taken from Petts Wood Methodist Church last week.
Group scout leader, Liz Sewell, said: “This is devastating news for a thriving Scout Group which gives so many young people opportunities to enjoy new adventures, experience the outdoors and reach their full potential.
“I have told the scouts and parents to keep an eye out for the van and I hope anyone who sees will let the police know.”
She added that the mini-bus was vital for taking the group to activities and camps.
Just before the burglary – the 5th Petts Wood Scout Group was planning to brand the minibus.
If you have any information about the minibus, which has a registration of BX12 AZL, please contact the police on 101.
