A number of robberies and attempted robberies have been reported on a train service between Herne Hill and Bromley South.
The incidents were reported on March 12 between 3.19pm and 4.10pm, and police have now released CCTV footage of the suspects.
A schoolboy was targeted by four males after getting on the train at Herne Hill.
The boy was threatened with violence as the gang surrounded him. He was forced to concede his mobile phone before leaving the train at Penge East.
The gang then moved to a quiet carriage where they punched a schoolboy in the jaw and ribs before taking his mobile phone after demanding it to be unlocked.
Leaving the train at Petts Wood – the four men then got on a train service from Orpington towards London.
The thugs then asked a small group of schoolboys to surrender their phones, but were deterred when revenue staff boarded.
They ran off at Bromley South and barged through the gates and headed towards Ravensbourne in Bromley.
