A squirrel doing a great impression of Tom Cruise in the Mission Impossible films is the winning photo from our camera club for March.
The image was captured in Church Gardens, Bromley, by Andrew Goldsack who wins the £50 monthly prize.
The theme for last month’s competition in the News Shopper Camera Club was wildlife, and it produced a very strong field of entries showing animals, birds, bugs and aquatic life around SE London and north Kent.
Browse through the gallery above to see Andrew’s winning photo and some of the other pictures that caught our eye the most during the month.
The News Shopper Camera Club is a group on Facebook for people looking to get their photos published online and in print.
Now with more than 520 members, the club invites people to share their best photos from around the area as well as talk to fellow photographers, join in projects and enter competitions.
If you’re an enthusiastic amateur snapper, you can request to join the group.
Once accepted, you’ll be able to add your pictures to the group, join in the conversation and contests and also possibly have some of your photos used here in the newspaper or on our website.
Our April competition is searching for an iconic image of something which most symbolises this area.
The usual £50 prize is up for grabs, but the winning photo will also become the new header image on our Facebook and Twitter pages where thousands of people will see it.
