A person has survived after being hit by a train in Woolwich.
British Transport Police were called shortly before 6am this morning (March 31) to reports of a person hit by a train.
Officers attended the scene near Woolwich Dockyard Station along with London Ambulance Service.
The person had survived the collision and was described by BTP as having "non life-threatening injuries".
The incident is being treated as non-suspicious.
Trains on the line had to be delayed or cancelled but the incident was cleared by 8.30am later that day.
