Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal car crash in Belvedere.
Officers were called to the roundabout between Picardy Manorway and Anderson Way at around 8.30pm yesterday (March 13) to reports of a crash.
The crash was between a Mercedes and what police believe was a dark coloured Audi, with the Audi driving away after the crash.
The driver of the Mercedes, a man in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses said the Mercedes was "in bits" and "smoking" after the crash.
Officers are in the process of notifying the driver's next of kin and awaiting formal identification.
Detectives are looking for any witnesses who say the collision or saw a car leaving the scene.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the witness appeal line on 020 8285 1574.
