Travelodge has announced it will open a third hotel in Bromley this year.
The £7.5 million hotel will offer 59 rooms for the new facility in Elmfield Road. It will be a "stones throw away" from the Glades Shopping Centre.
Travelodge is set to open 20 new hotels in 2018 creating 550 new jobs, which is part of its £240 million investment.
Chief executive of Travelodge, Peter Gowers, said: “Despite the uncertainty caused by Brexit and economic pressures, the UK budget hotel market remains attractive. We are delighted to be opening 20 hotels this year which includes our third Travelodge in Bromley.
“Much of our recent success has been driven by our investment in quality and growing appeal to business customers. Our new hotels increasingly serve business locations and more and more customers are choosing our new SuperRooms.”
Travelodge say 20 jobs will be created when the new Bromley hotel opens.
The hotel, which will be modelled on the company’s new Travelodgical’ room design, will be known as The Glades Travelodge.
