Beyonce and Jay-Z have announced they will be touring together again later this year, four years after their joint On The Run Tour.

The married couple's follow-up concert series, called On the Run Part 2 (OTR II), will kick off in the UK with the first date in Cardiff on June 6.

They will then head to Glasgow on June 9, Manchester on June 13 and London on June 15.

Beyonce and Jay-Z will perform another 11 shows across Europe before taking their tour to North America in July, where they will play 21 concerts until October.

The news was announced with three posts on Beyonce's Instagram account, with black and white photographs and a video clip of the music stars posing together.

Perhaps in retaliation to the reports about their relationship being in trouble, the song I'm Still In Love with You by Alton Ellis featuring Hortense Ellis plays over the short video.

Last year Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, admitted he had been unfaithful to his wife in an interview with the New York Times Style Magazine, saying his rough childhood had prompted him to build up walls.

The rapper apologised to Beyonce for his unfaithfulness on his latest album 4.44.

The duo had previously been at the centre of speculation about their marriage when CCTV footage from 2014, released by US celebrity website TMZ, showed Beyonce's younger sister Solange attacking Jay-Z in a New York City hotel lift following the Met Gala.

The couple married in 2008 and have three children - six-year-old daughter Blue Ivy and twins Sir and Rumi, who were born last year.

Tickets for the UK concerts will go on sale March 23.
