With the snow continuing to hammer down on a chilly south east London – it seems timely that an Iceland store has today reopened in Hayes.
The frozen food giant has undergone a half a million pound refurbishment for its store at the 2/4 Station Approach in Hayes.
Neil Hayes, Iceland’s merchandising and format development manager, said: “Refurbishments on this scale are only possible if we close the stores for a time and I thank all our customers in Hayes for their patience while the work has been completed.
“I am sure that they will feel that it has been worth it when they experience the new store, which has the same friendly faces to serve them, all the products they love plus some exciting new additions, and of course our unique free home delivery service for purchases of more than £20.”
The supermarket has a transformed layout, in-store navigation and newly designed checkouts.
Iceland chose Clapham as its first location to welcome the new concept store in October 2016 – with 43 other stores in the UK since refitted with the fresh look.
Opening times:
Monday to Saturday: 8am – 9pm
Sunday: 10am – 4pm
Photos of the new store are being released shortly. We will update this article when we receive them.
