Dog owners are being warned to keep a close eye on their animals when using parks.
According to the police, youths on bikes were targetting small dogs that were not on leads.
A spokesman for for Blackfen Police said: "We have had a report that someone is taking dogs from the park areas please keep a close eye on your dogs whilst out walking."
This is not the first time a warning has been issued to dog owners in Bexley.

The council called it a "horrible incident" and warned owners to be vigilant.
