Southeastern has advised commuters to get an earlier train home this evening amid harsh weather conditions.

Despite the snow - Southeastern say it will run a full service today, but warned that trains may be disrupted during rush hour.

More snow is forecast for 6pm, which is predicted to affect commuters returning home.

A spokesperson for Southeastern said: "We are working closely with Network Rail to keep the rail network open, and will be running a full service on Monday morning.

"With heavier snow expected from 6pm, services may be disrupted.

"We advise passengers to check before they travel and allow additional time for journeys. If possible, passengers may wish to re-time evening journeys to avoid the peak hour."

The Met Office has issued weather morning for south London. A chief forecaster said we could get up to 15cm of snow through Tuesday morning.
