Plans to demolish a trade park and build a new supermarket are being opened to the public.
Lidl has published plans to demolish Atlas Trade Park in Fraser Road and build a new standalone store and car park.
The supermarket giant is proposing to build a new supermarket, with a 111-bay car park, which would provide up to 40 jobs.
Atlas Trade Park is currently occupied by four retailers and a car garage, and is 0.1 miles from the Quarry Development which will eventually have around 600 homes built there.
Lidl, which has acquired the land at the trade park, plans to submit a formal application next month.
A public consultation about the plans will be held on March 8 at the Angelus Centre before any planning applications are put in.
