- Essex Polce was called at about 8.55am to an unexploded WW2 bomb that had been found in an industrial estate in Grays.
- - The Dartford Crossing was closed for a short period but has since reopened.
- - There is still traffic in the surrounding areas.
- - The Ministry of Defence assessed the bomb and deemed it an empty shell with no explosives.
- - This is a seperate bomb to a previous one found in the Thames on Sunday near London City Airport.
