Traffic was held at the Dartford Crossing as a controlled detonation of a World War 2 device took place.
Shortly before 3pm today (February 9), authorities closed the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge to keep drivers safe from the explosion.
The closure resulted in delays over the bridge, but the worst of it cleared up within 30 minutes with delays of around ten minutes going over the crossing.
Police opened the bridge after the detonation took place.
