Millwall striker Lee Gregory wants Tottenham in the FA Cup.

The Lions travel to Rochdale this evening in a fourth-round replay, while Spurs host Newport County tomorrow. The winners face each other in the next round of the competition.

Gregory said: “It’s a bigger incentive. We want to win. We want Spurs down at the Den, so it’s a big game for us, we want to win.”

The former Halifax hitman is full of confidence after netting in Millwall’s 2-0 win at Reading on Saturday.

A Leandro Bacuna own goal put the Lions in front and just three minutes later Steve Morison found Gregory who smartly finished for his sixth league goal of the season.

It was the third time that Morison has assisted his strike partner this term after his fine pass against Sheffield United and an inch-perfect cross at Leeds a fortnight ago.

The win means Millwall are now 12 points clear of the relegation zone and the 29-year-old says the club are looking up rather than down.

Gregory added: “The boys were class against Reading. It was good to get the win away from home, our second of the season and now we are marching on. We are looking up, of course.

“Nothing’s changed in the last few away games. We are doing exactly what we have been doing at the start of the season, but this time we are being more clinical in front of goal.

“It’s another goal for me, I am happy with it. I just closed my eyes and just hit it and it went in, didn’t it?”
