UPDATE: Rio has been found safe by police.
Police are appealing after a teenage boy disappeared after “popping to the shop”.
15-year-old Rio Walsh-Watson, of Galleon Close in Erith, was last seen at 3.30 on Wednesday, January 24.
A police spokesman said: “He said he was popping out to the shop but did not return.”
There was a possible sighting of Rio in Brighton near the train station at about 1.30pm on Tuesday, January 30.
Police are increasingly worried about Rio’s welfare and are urging the public to contact them with information.
Rio is a black male, 5ft 8ins - 5ft 9ins, of athletic build, with shoulder length dreadlocks.
At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a blue tracksuit and black Nike trainers.
He is known to frequent Abbey Wood and Thamesmead
