A man has been charged with attempted murder
A woman has been left seriously injured after being stabbed and allegedly raped in Hextable.
The woman was rushed to a London hospital and is currently in a stable condition after being found with stab wounds on January 11.
Michael Barnard, of Lower Road, Hextable, was arrested on January 12 and has been charged with attempted murder and rape.
Barnard, 24, appeared at Maidstone Magistrates' Court on Saturday (January 20) where he was remanded in custody.
He will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on February 19.
