New statistics released by the Met Police show the burglary hotspots in Bexley in the run-up to Christmas.

As News Shopper reported last month, Bexley sees the greatest rise in residential burglaries around Christmas in south London.

Data showed the percentage increases of home burglaries committed between November and January compared to the rest of the year in the capital between April 2010 and October 2017.

While Bexley was ranked among the top three boroughs in the capital or percentage increase in residential burglaries, it was still second lowest overall for burglary rate, recording just four burglaries per 10,000 residents.

New figures now show crimes reported in November 2017, showing the areas in Bexley that were worse hit by residential burglaries.

There were 156 burglaries in November compared to 127 the month before.
