Three Bromley roads will be closed due to emergency repair work set to take several days.
Elmstead Lane, Chislehurst will be closed one way for gas repair work by SGN which will affect traffic travelling towards Bromley.
Elmstead Lane will be shut near to the railway bridge, near the junction with Sundridge Avenue.
Whilst these works are in place, traffic will be diverted via Walden Road, Yester Road and Sundridge Avenue.
A burst water main in Main Road, Biggin Hill will mean that emergency repair work is underway.
Temporary traffic lights are being used as Thames Water make repairs. The work will be completed in a number of days with the exact timescales not known.
Homesdale Road will also be closed with SGN closing the road to through traffic to undertake essential repairs.
Traffic in Homesdale Road will be diverted via the two following diversions:
• Masons Hill A21, Kentish Way A21, Widmore Road A222, Bickley Road A222, Page Heath Lane in both directions
• Bromley Common A21, Crown Lane Spur, Crown Lane, Southborough Lane, Blackbrook Lane, Bickley Park Road A222, Page Heath Lane in both directions
Repair work has also started on a second gas leak with the work set to be completed next week.
