Despite the rail fare hike it is not all bad news for commuters this morning as Southeastern is reportedly running a good service across all its lines.
This was after their engineering work was completed in time meaning Cannon Street trains will now be able to stop at London Bridge, which opened five new platforms today (December 2).
A Southeastern tweet said it was "generally looking good across the network" today.
There is a "good service" running through Woolwich, Bexleyheath, Sidcup, Hayes and Bromley South.
However, some commuters still took the opportunity to tweet some complaints.
Looking good ??? Look at your numerous earlier tweets regarding short formations of carriages this morning because of so called faults, this means that passengers now have to stand for all their journey in something similar to a cattle truck. Not that good really is it !!!

@Se_Railway My train stinks of urine which is disturbing as there’s no toilet in my carriage. 7.17 SID to CST, carriage 65748.
