POLICE have issued a description and image of a man they want to interview in connection with a sexual assault in Lewisham.
The assault started in Romborough Way, and ended in Lewisham Park at around 2.50am where the victim, aged 68, was discovered unconscious on the floor with facial injuries.
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
The suspect is described as male, 6ft tall, with a muscular build and of Afro-Caribbean appearance.
He had short black hair, brown eyes and was wearing a dark sweatshirt and dark trousers.
His accent is described as African.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the May 15 incident who may have seen or heard anything suspicious or who recognise the suspect.
