A pub in Bromley is offering a free turkey dinner on Christmas Day to senior citizens who would otherwise be alone.
The Crown and Anchor pub, in Park Road, will also play the Queen’s speech, and give out servings of Christmas pudding, tea or coffee with a mince pie, and a glass of sherry.
The doors will open at 2.30pm, the Queen’s speech will be played at 3pm and the dinner will be served at 3.30pm.
Elderly people will have to find their own way to get to the pub.
There are limited places for the dinner. Anybody who is interested should call 020 8249 1657 to book a place.
