A pop-up cinema in central Bromley went down a storm last week.
Queens Gardens in Kentish Way was transformed into a cinema on August 17, 18 and 19.
The free Midsummer Movies event showed family friendly classics such as the Goonies and was put on by Your Bromley, the Business Improvement District for Bromley Town Centre.
Frances Forest, BID manager, commented “We are passionate about Bromley town centre and really hope that local residents and visitors enjoy events like this as
much as we have enjoyed making it happen.”
Craig Higgins said on Facebook: "Great time tonight watching Top Gun, a first for Bromley - an out door cinema."
Whilst entry to the screenings was free of charge deckchairs were available for hire. All cash raised from the deck chairs went to local charities The Chartwell Cancer Trust and Bromley Homeless Shelter.
