A Tesco lorry has hit the bridge at Shortlands train station, jamming traffic in both directions.
The crash occurred around 1am today, June 19, and the crash is not expected to be cleared until this afternoon.
Clock House police have warned drivers to avoid the area and expect heavy traffic disruption.

This is not the first time a tall vehicle has misjudged the height of the bridge at Shortlands.
On May 15 a double-decker bus had its top level ripped off as it tried to pass under the bridge.

In October 2015, two lorries hit the bridge in the space of 10 days.
