A “violent” mental health patient who went missing from a Woolwich hospital returned of his own accord.
Mandeep Mehmi, 37, went missing around 6.15pm on Sunday, June 4, at Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he had been receiving treatment.
Mehmi had been detained under the Mental Health Act and Greenwich Police issued an appeal to get the public help track the absconder.
A statement issued by Met Police said: "Mehmi is violent and is known to carry weapons and, if seen, should not be approached."
He returned to the facility of his own accord on Wednesday, 7 June and has been detained at the facility.
