Terror cops have arrested a man in south east London on suspicion of funding terrorism.
The 40-year-old man was arrested yesterday afternoon (Saturday, April 22) and has been detained at a south London police station under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE).
Officers had arrested a 30-year-old man at an address in north London on Wednesday morning (April 19) suspicion of commissioning, preparing or instigating acts of terrorism.
He remains detained at a south London police station under section 40(1) of the Terrorism Act 2000.
The Metropolitan Police’s searches at a residential address in north London have concluded.
The force’s enquiries continue.
