Remembrance services took place across south-east London and north Kent as residents took to the streets to pay their respects to war veterans.
Wreaths were placed at memorials across the News Shopper area to remember those who have lost their lives in conflict.
Bexleyheath Conservative Club held a Remembrance Day lunch on Sunday to commemorate the service given in World War II by four Veterans, who are all aged over 90 and are still active members of the Club.
A parade of veterans, ex-service groups and youth organisations took place in Eltham, with a wreath laying ceremony at Eltham War Memorial and a two minutes' silence at 11am.
The Two Minute Silence is held each year at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month and marks the end of the First World War.
