A flash mob turned a Chislehurst supermarket into an impromptu spooky dancefloor last week to plug Halloween events in the town.
More than 30 young performing arts students from All the Arts Theatre School performed a flash mob dance spectacle to Michael Jackson’s Thriller at Sainsbury’s last Saturday morning (October 8).
Staff at the supermarket were quick to join in, including branch manager John Woods and Mog the Cat who starred in the chain’s Christmas advert last year.
The stunt was to promote Visit Chislehurst’s Halloween Pumpkin Hunt, which takes place from 1pm to 3pm on Saturday, October 28. Details can be found at visitchislehurst.org.uk/pumpkinhunt
Visit Chislehurst’s director Tamsyn Clark said: “We are delighted to have been able to work with All the Arts and Sainsbury’s on this wonderful video which is helping to promote our Pumpkin Hunt and the vibrant town of Chislehurst.
“The students have loved rehearsing for this event and we look forward to seeing them perform it again at the Pumpkin Hunt on Friday October 28, 2016.”
