A mum has taken to social media in a bid to thank the “wonderful” man who helped her after she fell and twisted her ankle near Beckenham Hill station.

The plea, shared on Twitter by parenting network Mummy’s Gin Fund, called on people to help find the kind stranger who stopped his car to help the injured woman.

It reads: “Lovely people, please help me find the man who sat with me after I had a spectacular fall near Beckenham Hill station.”

The woman said she was trying to “think through the pain” when a man got out of his car to sit with her until help arrived.

She continued: “He called my husband and listened as I rambled on about a long day and being too much in my head to see the stupid road.

“He helped me up and was super amazing.

“So if he was your husband/brother/partner/friend and tells you about a silly woman sitting on the road after she fell…ease [sic] thank him for me.”

She added: “We need more people like him in the world.”

Mummy’s Gin Fund shared the post to its 2,000 Twitter followers in a bid to help find the Good Samaritan.

They said: “Another great story from the MGF Facebook group. Can you help find the lovely man?”
